Charles C. Turner

Charles C. Turner has practiced law in Alabama for more than 27 years, securing successful results for clients in a diverse range of practice areas. An experienced litigator, he handles civil litigation and non-litigation matters including property insurance claims, real estate, probate, estate and will matters, business disputes, commercial transactions, personal injury, construction law, zoning and land use matters and mineral rights. Charles also frequently serves as local counsel for out-of-town and out-of-state attorneys with cases pending in Northeast Alabama.

Charles has deep experience representing individuals and businesses in cases involving property insurance claims, and is experienced in managing a broad range of complex insurance matters.

In 2010 and 2011, Charles focused his practice exclusively on successfully recovering money for individuals and businesses that were victims of insurance claims abuse, fraud and breach of contract.

In 2012, Charles  served as supervising counsel on the Hog Mountain gold mine quiet title litigation. The project required complete title searches on the 1,300 acre mine.

Charles is licensed to practice law in Alabama, Texas and Colorado. He is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell. Charles earned his JD at the University of Alabama School of Law and received his BA (philosophy) from Emory University, magna cum laude,

Charles provides pro bono legal services to Cheaha Regional Humane Society and has previously provided such services to the Northeast Alabama Community Foundation, the Salvation Army, and various churches.

Charles is married to Rebecca Stokes Turner and lives in Anniston, Alabama. The Turners have an adult son. They attend Grace Episcopal Church in Anniston, where Charles was previously on the vestry.
